I MET KAMLESH

Video of 13 y/o Kamlesh
Who left his mother for drugs.

""  Welcome friends, I am Kamlesh. You all must have loved and laughed at my videos and memes on social media. Nice, prior now, I only drank solution.I am feeling valuable {good} that I have helped many you-tubers to step up their views. I have became an internet sensation overnight.I am feeling very happy because I am not only the human who helped you-tubers, instagram admins a lot, In fact I don't deserve to be called a human. I am an animal.

Do you want to find more Kamlesh's like me? You will get find lakhs of Kamlesh in India. You would not like to know my address but I would like to share it. Ever visited temples, churches, mosques , Gurudwaras or any other religious places? There you will find many beggars outside and you will see many Kamlesh there. You can find Infinite number of Kamlesh at railway stations. Ever went for early morning walk or dirty areas? There you will find me wiping the dirt.

Inhabitants (People) complains  that I have many bad habits. I drink, I smoke, Soluchan (solution) is my life. But they never bother OR they never think that why I have bad habits? It's really simple. People get hungry. I too get hungry. But I don't have wage (money) to fill my stomach and solution is something that I could afford. It vanishes my hunger and thirst and it's really dirt-cheap (inexpensive) and I could easily buy it after working all day. You feel cold in winters, I too feel cold. But you people have houses, bed, blanket and warm clothes to save yourself from cold . I don't have 2 piece of clothes. So, I drink solution. It makes me feel unconscious and I can sleep whole night on footpath in winters. At every place, people ignores me. People don't like to come near me. They hate when we touch them. What is my mistake? I think, my mistake is that I took birth. Isn't it?""

         I  MET Kamlesh.

Yes friends, I have met him. Not the original one,but one just like him. I remember that I've met him last year when I was traveling to Delhi by train.Their one beggar child was asking for money and I observed he was quiet oftenly smelling a piece a cloth. I was about to give him money but one uncle stopped me and told me not to give him money as he would buy  solution. I didn't undersand what uncle was saying and as uncle went away I gave money to that poor child. Now after watching this Kamlesh video, I understood what a big mistake I had committed. Now I feel guilty of giving money to beggars that I've indirectly helped them to buy drugs which would harm those innocent child.

I clearly remember that he was not able to stand properly. He was not able to open his eyes properly. All he was aiming was to get money somehow.

In Kamlesh video, when reporter asks him that what is significant (important) for him, his mother or solution? He quickly replied, without having any confusion or doubt in his mind, SOLUCHON. Now guys, This indicates his mental situation and child like him. Parents are the most precious gift given by God to us and such kinds, unfortunately are not able to figure out what is good for them, mother or drugs. They don't have this much amount of sense and most sad part is, they are at earliest of their life and what are they learning? What will they teach to their family (if they somehow they manage to live till that age)? One must really think.

There are many rich and kindhearted people who every now and then gives rupees to beggars and sometimes give them handsome amount by thinking that they are helping them. But they don't realize that they are eventually Harming them by 2 ways

1. They are teaching them to not to do hard work and beg everything for free

2. They are encouraging them to buy drugs by giving them money free of cost

If you really want to help those poor ones, then please give them food, clothes or place for shelter instead of money. Also, many a times some children's are forced to beg by kidnappers to earn them a food and by giving money to them, you are encouraging this method which is an extremely bad thing.

What should we do?

Begging is Menace to society and it is believed that about half  a million people in India are beggars by profession. We as Indians are very orthodox ,God- fearing and have a religious frame of mind. The best possible way to stop this menace to society is to stop giving alms to poor one's. It may seem astonishing and it may seem that we are heartless to a small child begging on the street but believe me, this Would be the great step to eradicated begging. If everyone in this country will come out and take a plead that they are not going to give a single penny to beggars, I am sure that Begging will be eradicated from India in no time.

""You cannot hold your head high with your hands out""

P.S: If you are thinking that I am arrogant towards poor people, then let me tell you that I am not at all like that. I am against giving money to beggars or small childrens. I have mentioned earlier to help them in every other possible way (give them food to eat, give theem shelter, if possible guide them to some work).

75% attendance killing creativity

            Less attendance = Better results

Everyone has their own opinions and I respect them. But today I am writing this blog to criticize the mandatory 75% attendance rule implemented by Indian government in engineering colleges to qualify for examination. In this blog, I am not pointing out any particular college so I request not to take it personally. I am talking in general.

According to me, this rule is actually killing youth's talent. Thousands of students interested in sports activities or cultural activities cannot continue to focus on their skills due to this useless rule.  I believe that if you have a problem and you want to solve it, the very first step you need to take is to say that yes there is a problem. First of all, we must analyze this rule from both ends i.e University point of view and students point of view.

Q1     University : If we are not going to impose 75% attendance criteria, students will not show up in the class.
Student: This rule is quite acceptable but it clearly means that students are not interested in what's being taught during the lectures or the way of teaching. You need to make your classes much more interesting so that students show up in the classes. If you conduct lectures  on how to make an Android app or how to create a website and in the end of semester, ask for project on making 3 android apps,  I'm sure that students will attend the lectures. Students bunk classes only in the subject they are not interested in.

Q2   University: We follow 75% attendance rule because we are worried about child's future.

Student: Let me tell you a fact that students are more worried about their future than you because they are not going to stay in college their entire lives. They are here for some 4-6 years and then they have to earn meal by themselves. In that time span what you are actually doing is, you are anyhow trying to force students to come to class irrespective of whether they are interested in not.

I am not telling that government should eradicate this rule as I also believe that there must be some attendance criteria. But 75% criteria is more than enough. It should be 50%.

Let us take an example. There are 2 friends A and B. Both are in computer engineering but from different colleges.
A
In A's college, attendance criteria is 50%. He attends 2-3 lectures daily then takes a leave and goes to computer coaching classes to learn programming languages. He followed this routine for 4 years and you cannot imagine the knowledge he has attained and how much capable he has became after 4 years. He might  have easily learned and mastered 6-8 languages in detail.
B

Let's talk about B. His college follows 75% attendance criteria. He used to attend each and every lecture irrespective of his interest. Attending the classes just for the sake of attendance. Follow typical engineer pattern, copy assignments, complete books and submissions.

Now,at the time of job interviews and placements, what will happen? Who will bag more package? Do I really need to answer? Obviously A because at that time, knowledge in the subject matters the most not attendance. They will ask you questions which you need to answer with your knowledge. They are not going to ask you about your attendance.

You should really come up with some solution of imposing this 75% attendance criteria.
Another idea from my side is, you should keep this criteria for maximum 2 years and then you must allow the students to learn what they want give the condition they must pass the examination. Like  he must be allowed to choose between from where he wants to learn. It could be from college,it could be any institute. Or he wants to learn mechanics from any workshop. Indirectly, It would add to job experience.

Clearly, this rule is a hindrance in producing high quality engineers who can run their own industry by their own skill. Another point, I personally believe that a student must get attendance if he is present in class. There are many teachers who believe that student must be physically as well as mentally present in class to get the attendance. If a student talks in class, his attendance is gone. If a student do not answer the question in class, his attendance is gone. If a student does not complete a book, his attendance is gone. If a student does not complete his assignment, his attendance is gone. What the hell is wrong with this system. Can anyone explain?

Most inspiratonal story

Man who never gave up - Karoly Tacaks

In 1938, there was a man named Karoly Takacs in Hungarian army. He was the optimum (best) piston shooter of his country. His only aim was to make his shooting hand (right hand) the best and laudable shooting hand in world. For that he had to win Gold medal in 1940 olympics. Such was his proficiency (capability) in this field that everyone was almost confirm that Karoly will win the gold medal in 1940 olympics.

But its said that fate doesn't cares about your plans. His all dreams turned to dust one day. In 1938, in an army camp, in an unfortunate event, one hand grande exploded in Karoly's right hand. Yes, right hand, his shooting hand. That misadventure (accident) did not only ended up his hand but also his dream of conquering  (winning) olympic gold medal.

Now he was left with 2 options. He  would have prefer (choose) to abandon(cancel) his dream to life and howl(cry) till death or to still pursue (follow) the little light of hope. He didn't focused on what he didn't had. Instead, he focused on what he still had. What was it? A left hand. Yes, a hand by which he was not able to write properly became the hand by which he started dreaming to win an olympic gold.

His medication (treatment) for right hand ended after 1 month. Not wasting a single moment, next day, he started practice with his left hand. In 1939, one national gunfiring (shooting) competition was held in Hungary. As soon as Karoly went there, his colleagues went to him and congratulated him. They said" See, this is sportsman-spirit, this is dedication. After the accident, you came  here just  to cheer us". Karoly replied" I am not here to cheer or motivate you. I am here to compete with you. Get ready to loose".Everyone was collapsed to hear this. It was like a nightmare for all players. There, everyone was competing with there best hand and he was competing with his only/rest hand. You know who won? The man with the only hand. But he didn't stopped here. His only aim was to make his hand best shooting hand of the world.

He started focusing  on 1940's olympic. But unfortunately, 1940's olympic got cancelled due to World war 1. Then, he shifted hi focus towards 1944 olympics. Unfortunately, this event was also cancelled again, due to World War 2.

Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is definitely ours to win. He was again ready for 1948 olympics. In 1938, he was 28. Now he was 38. Also its gets extremely difficult to compete with young players and maintain fitness at 38. But, "difficult" word was not there in his dictionary. He went and he conquered. Yes, Karoly had finally won the Olympic gold medal and showed the world  who was the lion of forest.

But friends, he didn't stopped here. He participated in 1952 olympic at the age of 42 and do you know who was the winner? The man with the only hand, Karoly did it again and became the 1st player in the history of Olympics to win back to back gold medals.

You can have excuses or results, not both of them.

Excuses would always be there for you, opportunity won't.

Success occurs when your dream gets bigger than your excuses.

Playing it my way book review

       What is book review?
Many people think that book review means to provide your personal opinion about the book. It is not totally true.

Successful book review means complete analysis of book and its strength and weaknesses.

I would like to give some common instructions to make a excellent book review presentation which was guided to us by Dr Deepak Mashru.

Common instructions:

1. Identify title, author, genre, theme of the book and some brief information about the author of book.

2. Write your personal reactions on that book( what made you read this book and why would you recommend others to read the book)

3.Summarize what happened in the book. Including picture and videos helps.

Note: Keep your presentation short and simple because you might be in love with the data you have collected but not your audience.

4. Note down characters or points which you hated or loved and why.

5. Use white background and black/ blue color font as it is a classic combination.

6. Each section must start on new slide.

7. Use bullets for effective presentataion.

Smart and hidden features of smartphone

Hii guys! I am Gurpreet Sandha. In this blog i am going to amaze you with some really cool gestures of andriod phone which you would get used to eventually.

1. Screen pinning: Many a times, our friends, relatives etc ask for our phone for 1 call. But there are very rare LEGENDS who really give our phone back to us after 1 call, others have a very annoying habbit of opening our phone's gallery and reading our chats. So to get rid of such act, andriod phone has an inbuilt feature of Screen pinning.

Secondly, If you pin the screen, you will not receive any calls, messages and notifications untill screen is unpinned. So probably gamers would love it.

Q= How to pin the screen?
1. Go to Settings.

2. Click on "Lock screen and security.
3. Then select "other security" option
4. Choose  " Pin windows" option

Now, suppose you want to pin youtube app, then open youtube, minimize it,
then again click on recent tab button and drag it upwards a bit and you will se a pin on lower right side. By clicking on that pin, specific application would be pinned.

Q-How to Unpin ?
To unpin the application, you need to press the back button and recent task button simultaneously.
After unpinng, your phone will be locked and the other person could not check your chats, gallery etc.

EXTRAORDINARY COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Communication skills is one of the most important skill you need to develop in yourself which would be helpful to you in every  aspect of life. So here are some points which I would like to share with you for an effective communication.

1. Motive:

For effective communication, you need to understand the MOTIVE /AIM of the other person. You need to understand what he/she wants from you.

Eg: If you go to a footwear shop and ask for shoes, and the shopkeeper comes up to you after wasting 5 minutes, and says "Take this piece, its comfortable." Your reaction would obviously be "Hello! What are you upto? I am asking for shoes and you are showing me Floaters. Do you understand what i am talking about?"

2. NO arguments:

"Discussions are always better than arguments because an argument is to find who is right and discussion is to find what is right."

Friends, where there is an argument, it means that their communication skills are ZERO.

In order to develop good communication skills, you need to convert an argument into discussion. Where there is discussion, it means that there is good scope of communication .This can be done by AGREEING to what other person is saying, then you need to change the track.

Eg: You are a salesman and a customer is complaining about your product. Now there are 2 cases to handle this situation.

CASE 1:
No, this product does not have any fault, you have misused it. (now argument will take place and there is no scope of communication).

CASE 2:
Ok, there might be some problem in my product, but
(changing the track) i want to know on what basis are you saying this! (now there is scope of good communication).

3. Listen more, speak less.

"Our problem is that everyone wants to sell his\her point of view".

We often speak much without listening to the entire truth. We can overcome this weakness by listening because

" The word LISTEN contains the same letters as the word SILENT"

4. Asking questions

For effective conversations, we need to ask Questions. Our problem is that we ASSUME \ JUDGE very fast.

Good communication skills mean that the other person says something, you paused a bit, understand it and then ask a question.

Now asking questions are of 2 types.

(1) CLOSE ended questions: Such questions are also known as conversation breakers. Hmm, OK,fine are examples of this.

Eg: Person 1 : Today I went to a concert
      Person 2 :  hmm

Now there is no scope of communication, YES! you can use such type of questions when you want to end a conversation.

(2) OPEN ended questions: Such type of questions show that you are interested  in talking with the other person.

Eg: Person 1 : Today I went to a concert
Person 2 : Great! who was the singer? You must have enjoyed.

So here communication can easily occur. Remember
Communication is a two way process.

5. Good feeling

I think this is the most important part of the communication. If you think deeply, ultimately the purpose of anyone talking to you is that they need GOOD FEELINGS after talking to you. If you fail to do so, person will no longer like to talk to you.

One glimpse at Marwadi University

It is just a random click of Marwadi University which tells us a lot about atmosphere in this campus. Main entrance is on the right side in the picture. Just after entering the campus, lush green garden gives pleasure to the viewers.

In this picture, one can clearly see the discipline followed in this university. By this i mean , cars and college buses are perfectly parked in line. In the garden, there is a lot of space for playing and on the other hand, they have utilized the space by planting trees which makes the atmosphere pleasent in the campus.

This picture also shows the dedication level of Marwadi University towards its sports loving students. By this, i mean STUD LIGHTS. Yes, many a times students are busy in day time, busy in college, assignments etc. So, here students can play at night under the lights for refreshment or practice. So it ensures that alongwith studies, student can can cope up with sports.
